Paula R. Ramsey
Paula Ramsey is the principal attorney at Paula R. Ramsey, PLLC. Ms. Ramsey has worked in the legal professional for more than 20 years, before launching her law firm. Ms. Ramsey’s main practice focus is criminal defense, bankruptcy and family law. The firm focuses its practice on a number of areas of law, including auto negligence/personal injury protection, civil litigation and immigration. Ms. Ramsey has been a successful advocate in both bench and jury trials, and has established herself as a go-to person in business formation and strategy.
Ms. Ramsey is also founder and Executive Director of Safe Assurance, Inc., a non-profit domestic violence agency that provides legal services to victims of domestic violence.
Ms. Ramsey is licensed to practice law in Michigan, as well as admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern and Western Divisions of Michigan. She is a member of the State Bar Association of Michigan, the Federal Bar, National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys as well as Black Women Lawyers Association of Michigan.
Ms. Ramsey received her J.D. from Thomas M. Cooley Law School, where she also obtained her LL.M in Taxation.
